I heart Google
OK, so I'm not the first person to rhapsodize lovingly about Google, but they really have changed the way we do things online.
No more bookmarks. I can't remember the last time I actually bookmarked a page or went back to one. If I can't find it again, I just Google it.
Your own private detective. How many people have found old friends again by Googling them? (And of course, pre-screened potential dates.) Just in the past week, I've discovered the recent whereabouts of long-lost college friends Tod Mostero and Denny Juge.
Gmail. Hotmail is so 2002. Cleaner interface, massive storage, instant archiving, unobtrusive ads. And now, I managed to get a beta test of hosted Gmail, which means I can use it to access and read my domain mailbox for heidizone.com. Sweet!
