The traveler

I should buy stock in Independence Air. Tomorrow I fly to Albany for the third time, my fourth flight on the airline in 3 months (including this past weekend's trip to Asheville). Since they don't go to Phoenix, I'll be switching to AmericaWest (the future USAirways) for my solo sojourn with Julia to the Fletcher family reunion at the end of the month. Which I am sooooo not looking forward to. She was good this weekend, but that was a 1-hour flight, not a 4-hour one. And there were two of us to wrangle baby and gear. At least I don't have to change planes.

After this, I want to stay put for a long while and only travel distances reachable by car in a half day or less.
