Trip to
Boston! Whilst Ken did CME, went
shopping at Filene's, and saw lots of art at the
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. In between we ate a lot (much chowda!), walked a lot, rode the Swan Boats in the Public Garden, celebrated our 2-year anniversary a few days early and enjoyed staying at the
Omni Parker House hotel.

"X-Men 2": Two words: Kicked ass.
Also, I have to admit that the "Matrix" trailer looked pretty frickin' amazing.
In other news, been
gardening up a storm. Bought a whole Vibe full of plants -- liriope, lamb's ear, baby's breath, hibiscus, daisies, peonies -- at Behnke's and spent Saturday planting, mulching, watering, pruning. And a week and a half ago I cleaned, primed and painted the front porch, which had been covered with Astroturf (!), so the front of the house is really starting to look good. I also did battle with the side raised beds full of weeds, amended the soil, and planted the daisies and peonies there, as well as seeds for hollyhocks, poppies, nasturtium and gladiolus bulbs. If all goes well, I'll have a cutting garden full of flowers this summer.
